This blog is for Daniel, so that he knows how Jeremy and I “roll” when mom is not around. When dad is in charge the “Man Rules” are in effect
- The number 1 and most important rule is NO WHINING during playtime, but sand moving, swinging, and rock throwing (only into the creek of course) are not only tolerated but encouraged.
- If a potty accident involving solid matter occurs that pair of underwear shall be considered trash and treated as a biohazard. No contact with the air infected by the odor and definitely no physical contact with said biohazard is permitted.
- To lessen the occurrences of number 2 (appropriate numbering huh?), after one potty accident, even if it is only a liquid event, its time to ditch the underwear for pull-ups.
- If its breakfast time… its Pancake time!
- During breakfast there shall be music as well as banging of spoons, plates, cups and any other objects that are moveable.
- During play time there is no volume control; as a matter of fact fun is directly proportional to the level of noise being produced.
- As a result of number 6, outside play is strongly encouraged to avoid splitting headaches.
- “Dad friendly” activities are also encouraged: shoot the hoop (basketball), throw Frisbees (disc golf), and last but not least napping.
- Nap, food, and any other scheduled times may vary depending on when supermom returns home, all with the intent of making things as easy as possible on all men effected (Dad, Jeremy, and yes soon enough you Daniel)!
- Last but not least, some small chore shall be completed to gain the approval of the all powerful supermom upon her return! You wouldn’t believe how many brownie points you get for cleaning out the dishwasher.
Stick to these simple rules and nobody gets hurt (unless unintentionally hit by a projectile….)
Supermom (i.e Crazy Pregnant Lady) if you just read number 10, the answer is no we can’t go buy brownies right now…..

doug, charles says the grandparents rule will be posted soon. we just have to compile them. love the man rules and i am sure supermom wouldn't have a problem with any of the rules for a dozen doughnuts
Mmmmmmmmm, brownies....
About rule number 6,
If that is how we are measuring fun, then naptime sure was fun today!
:)
Grandma, I'm sure the grandparent's rules will be hilarious. I'm also sure that none of the rules involve following Mom and Dad's reccomendations, but most if not all involve whatever Jeremy wants to do!
