I don't know why I think these day-outings that I always want to take will be fun for me. For example, MOPS today was having a Halloween carnival. Cookie Decorating, coloring, decorating trick or treat bags. Sounds good in principle, right? Here are some peaceful pictures to make me feel better...

Ah, here was my horrible revelation.... It's mostly supposed to be fun for the kids. Not the moms who run around and get all sweaty and bent out of shape that their two year old is acting completely age appropriately. The fun times for the moms comes a lot of times when the children are asleep (or just not present). I'll take either one. Talk to you soon!
