Disney Pics!

Hi everyone!  Long time no update!

You might have heard about our trip to Disney World.  In summary, here is the great, the good, the bad, and the ugly.
The great: The Magic Kingdom.  Daniel getting off Splash mountain, running to me and shouting, "Mommy!!!  Can we do Splash Mountain again?!?!?!"  Meeting Mickey mouse at his 'house'.  Monsters Inc laugh floor.  The character dinners.  Fantasmic.  The Pirate's League.  Meeting Pluto and Tigger.  The adult food.  Daddy getting some serious bonding time with Allie.  The lines - none!

Isn't that the most scary pirate you've ever seen?

Daniel showing you his 'hook' in the shirt worn especially for the occasion!

Splash Mountain!  What?  You can't see them?  They're in the last row!
The second trip on Splash Mountain.
Our first Mickey meet and greet.
Meeting Minnie at Mickey's restaurant.  Notice the look on Allie's face that says, "Giant Mouse!  Get your hand off my mommy!"
Meeting Mickey at his restaurant
The good: All the rides - Except for the Pirates of the Carribean (file that under 'bad').  All the 'other' characters.  Turtle talk with Crush.  All the 'shows' (note: Mommy would have filed these under great but no one else in the family really appreciated them).  The food - lots of food - chicken nuggets or peanut butter and jelly every day - what kid doesn't love that?  Fighting Darth Vader.  The princess meet and greet - Allie still did not want to go up near them, but she has a new favorite word - 'Princess'.

This exchange was hillarious!  Jeremy kissed princess Aurora's hand and the princess said she didn't know how Prince Phillip would feel about that!

This is as close as Allie would willingly get to any character :)
Jeremy training with the Jedi trainer (he's behind the woman with the funky hair).
Getting ready to slay Darth Vader.  Serious business!
Jeremy's big moment.  Of course he didn't go over to the dark side...
The bad: The heat.  The combination of the double stroller and the buses.  The one-year-old temper tantrums (note: Disney cast members seem to take delight in calling Allie a 'princess' every time she has a knock out, throw down temper tantrum). Scheduling the train for the wrong date and ending up driving down to Disney.
Our 1 good bus ride - it wasn't very crowded and the bus driver gave all the kids pirate bandanas, swords, and eye patches.  Awesome!

The ugly: Jeremy vomiting all night during the car ride.  Mommy missing the first half day of Disney because she was at urgent care after throwing out her back.  Allie vomiting.  Allie pitching a complete fit at the Hoop-de-doo review where the seating was so close together that *everyone* in the restaurant could hear her.

Here are some other random pictures just in case you're interested!

The ride we thought would be a lot calmer than it actually was.  Ralph!!!!
This picture is especially for John who was nice enough to send our kids a postcard from Disneyland telling them to make sure and ride the teacups.  All of our kids loved the teacups!!!!
Jeremy named his horse "chico".  Daniel named his horse "nico"
Daddy was out to make every ride a 'thrill ride'.  I think this was Winnie the Pooh.
The signature Disney ride.  :)
